Privacy Policy
Last updated: 5 October 2026
Clip Kenshi is a personal desktop tool. This policy explains what information it handles when its owner connects a TikTok account.
Information handled
- TikTok profile basics (open ID, display name, avatar), obtained with the
user.info.basicscope, shown in the app so you can see which account is connected. - Access and refresh tokens issued by TikTok after you log in. They are stored in a file on your own computer and are used only to call the TikTok API on your behalf.
- Video files you choose to upload. These are created by you, live on your computer, and are sent to TikTok only when you press the upload button (
video.uploadscope).
What we do not do
- We do not collect your TikTok password. Login happens on tiktok.com.
- We do not sell, rent or share your information with anyone.
- We do not run servers that receive your tokens or videos: the app runs locally, and data goes directly from your computer to TikTok.
- We do not read other users' data, and we do not use any data for advertising or profiling.
Retention and deletion
Tokens stay on your computer until you press "Disconnect" in the app, which deletes them, or delete the file yourself. You can also revoke the app's access from TikTok under Settings and privacy, Security and permissions, Apps and websites. Videos you uploaded as drafts are managed in your TikTok account.
Children
The app is not directed to children and is not offered to the public.
Changes
